Based on the work The Trail To Oregon
Team StarKid's The Trail to Oregon! at the Eternity Playhouse in Sydney. Inspired by the notoriously brutal computer game, this riotous musical comedy straps a hapless 1840s family into a covered wagon and points them west — through rivers, mountains, bandits, broken axles and an awful lot of dysentery. With a gleefully silly score by Jeff Blim and a cast that treats every disaster as a song cue, it's a couple of hours of cult-hit chaos where the only certainty is that someone will die of something ridiculous. Fast, filthy-funny and gloriously low-stakes, it's a love letter to bad decisions and worse pioneering. A rollicking night out at the Eternity Playhouse, Darlinghurst.
